Today was a sweet sweet day with Ken, Ronnie, Peter and Jessie celebrating my birthday over lunch. Lovely thoughts from Ken as he initiated it and rounded up people for the impromptu celebration. :)

 

After we got back to office, I was back in busy mode again. In all seriousness, I was slightly frowning with concentration. Suddenly, I notice everyone is approaching my desk! With a cake! Such a pleasant surprise as I was too busy to be anticipating such things...Elgin got me my all-time favourite...chocolate cake! Felt the warmth of love and care from these lovely people I work with...

  

 

 

 

And...my company actually gives me a birthday card with Ang Pow! Hee...

 

Night falls and off I go...to  Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant with my family. Food was not fantastic but service was good. I had a good time but was really tired by the time I got home as I haven't got much rest these few days with the stress of work and rehearsals, on top of taking time to meet up with darling.

 

 

 

Darling asked me to go to town for movie or Zouk with his friends but I am just too tired. Town just seems too far...my bed is more enticing. The next thing I know, he is downstairs! Since I did not want to go to town, he decided to surprise me at my void deck at 12 midnight with a cake. However, he had to come earlier since I told him I was going to sleep. Haha...my sweet darling...sang me a birthday song and hung out with me until 12 midnight. :)
