January 19 End of Blood TiesAfter some breathing time, I can blog about the completion of my recent production, Blood Ties.
Being a bigger-scale production, we have more people in cast and crew. I love these talented people and regret that we didn't have as much time to interact and bond as we would love to have. Thank you very much for giving your all for the production, esp my lovelies who acted with me in my two plays; Atalia, Ash, Varian, Yoong Yih, Regina and Daniel. No matter how mentally and physically draining, it was a great experience.
Be in touch, guys~!
A very big thank-you to all my dearies and your special ones (Daddy, Mummy, Vignette, Ziyang, Coreen, TL, Michelle, Gideon, Terence, Crystal, Celine, Laitin, Lenny, Daoyi, Susan, Angie, Susan, Ting, Zixian, Flor, Jianming, Stacy and Peng) who came to support my show. Very much appreciated...
Signing off, Mo Li Hua Perfumed Birthday & ChristmasMet up with Gideon yesterday and the lovely fella gave me my belated birthday present which consisted of 2 perfumes which I had put on my wishlist! HoHo! Gonna add them to my collection of perfumes...think I have 13 now! Yeah!
Darling also gave me perfume...but for Christmas. He gave me the collector's set of Women's Fragrances by Ralph Lauren. Wonderful right? My sweet sweet dear.
Kenny once said that perfume is the most insincere gift one can give. I absolutely reject that notion because I love love love perfume!!
Thank you, my dears... ThoughtsJust read Ting's blog and feel a little nostalgic now. She has sold her Jurong flat and bought one at Cantonment. Her Jurong flat holds many memories...we always hang out at her house during secondary school days, partly because her mum doesn't like to have her 'roaming about' outside and partly because her family is hospitable. Goodbye, Jurong flat...
Gonna have a golfing date with Darling at my Club later. Hee...See if I can hit my ball!
Notes about my Countdown Party:
My Shimmering Countdown Party was quite spectacular because of all the fun energy that was crackling at the venue. I'm really glad we pulled it off and have such great reviews. Even my colleague from the gym also heard about how good it was! Fantastic work, if I may say so myself. Haha! I absolutely love my Manager and counting down together was great. I don't take part in those countdown parties outside so counting down at work with people I adore is not sad to me at all, contrary to what others may think. Of course, it would have been even better if I could count down with my darling... January 02 Birthday Celebration on 26th December 08My annual birthday-cum-christmas celebration with my oldest girlfriends!
Had dinner at Mamma Lucia (my fav) but gotta miss out on dessert at Canele as we were too stuffed...I always relish our catching up as it is cosy and personal. Even if we meet up once a month, it is certainly not enough. However, what can you ask for when you have 3 crazily busy people? We try our best and we cherish what we have. My lovelies...
Note to Ting: Congratulations on moving into your new house! Looking forward to housewarming... Birthday Celebration on 18th December 0818th December 2008 was spent with Darling.
After a delightful afternoon english tea buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel, I finally got to go on Singapore Flyer! My dear was so sweet to bring me for this ride though he was kind of not so comfortable with heights. I love love love high tea buffets...buffets at hotels are expensive but they are really...yum yum! Smoked salmon, sundried tomatoes, chocolate balls on sticks, dainty tea set, patio with pool view ...OH! I love canapes. They always look so alluring in their small bits.
The only blip on my actual birthday was that I had to go back to office for a meeting after the Flyer. Elgin was really nice to excuse me from the meeting but I felt that I should go as I was not able to attend the previous one. Hope these meetings do not change dates so that everyone's schedules can go as planned.
Anyway, we watched Twilight after the meeting. Sigh...a birthday sweetly spent. |
